Marketing Associate

About the role

The Marketing Associate joins the External Affairs team at the Obama Presidential Center. You will execute day‑to‑day brand marketing tactics, manage information flow across owned channels, and help turn followers into lifelong advocates.

Key responsibilities

• Digital Signage Management – edit, create and deploy slides and playlists in the CMS and coordinate with the design team.
• Web Content Coordination – handle website update requests, ensure timely and accurate content, and apply test‑and‑learn optimisation.
• Project Management – support marketing and creative teams using Asana and develop meeting agendas.
• Campaign Management – oversee deliverables, timelines and internal reviews for key initiatives.
• Email Marketing Operations – build and launch end‑to‑end campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including content creation, testing, approvals, targeting and performance monitoring.
• Experiential & Event Support – assist with parades, convenings and brand activations, providing on‑site presence and digital integration.
• Contract and Budget Support – help manage contracts and track expenditures for external marketing vendors.
• Branded Asset Management – maintain inventory and distribution of branded assets across the organisation.

Required profile

• Experience in brand or digital marketing within a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to on‑brand, accurate content.
