Manufacturing Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician works on the 1st and 2nd shifts in our Jupiter/Stuart facility, performing reconditioning and finishing operations on components. The role combines hands‑on machining, surface preparation, and equipment maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engraving, buffing, grinding, polishing, and touch‑up grinding on components per specifications.
• Execute sandblasting and other surface‑preparation processes during reconditioning.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify work dimensions.
• Assist operators with equipment set‑up and operate cleaning machines such as ultrasonic and hot‑water washers.
• Operate small cranes and forklifts to move parts, tools, and materials.
• Conduct quality checks, prepare documentation, and report production time per step.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Follow EHS regulations, handle hazardous and non‑hazardous waste, and manage spill containment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a production or maintenance environment.
• Experience with grinding, coating application/removal, blasting, heat‑treat, machining, or welding preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or work instructions.
• Detail‑oriented, high‑energy self‑starter.
