Manufacturing Supervisor

About the role

The Manufacturing Supervisor will lead all functions involved in producing 3M products at a Wisconsin plant. You will ensure a safe, sustainable environment while driving production efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Model and promote safe work behaviors, resolve safety issues.
• Set priorities, allocate work assignments, and meet daily production targets using lean management.
• Monitor production rates, yields, and product quality; communicate results to the team.
• Apply continuous‑improvement tools to enhance scheduling, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees through floor presence, recognition, training oversight, and hiring participation.
• Represent plant leadership on cross‑functional initiatives, provide supervision coverage for alternative shifts, and act as primary on‑call plant manager.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED + 5 years manufacturing experience, OR Bachelor’s degree + 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
