Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Specialist with a strong electrical engineering background to design, deploy, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for complex industrial and data‑center equipment. The role ensures products are built safely, efficiently, and consistently across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, define, and improve manufacturing processes for electrically complex equipment.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for power distribution, control systems, and industrial electronics.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Support the introduction and optimization of factory technologies such as PLC‑controlled equipment, robotics, automated material handling, and ASRS.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste.
• Define requirements for production equipment, test systems, and tooling; oversee selection, commissioning, and validation.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality, supply chain, IT, and operations to align manufacturing requirements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, electrical, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of manufacturing engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial electronics and power infrastructure (switchgear, bus bar systems, UPS).
• Working knowledge of industrial automation, smart‑factory technologies, and PLC‑controlled equipment.
