Manufacturing Engineer – X‑Plant

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its X‑Plant to support the Final Assembly Line at the Mobile, AL facility. You will act as the focal point for plant activities, handling non‑conformities, design deviations and technical support for production.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all non‑conformities, design deviations, OSW and late changes.
• Provide technical support to X‑Plant production and act as the primary contact for plant activities.
• Establish and verify technical content of non‑conformities, validate documentation and steer concessions.
• Organise regular meetings with suppliers and partners (Folio reviews, drumbeat, MFT).
• Ensure compliance with Airbus and authority rules and support training of new colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aviation.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings and technical standards.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Motivation to learn and work both independently and in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• 3D modelling software: CATIA, SolidWorks.
• Enterprise tools: SAP, Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets).
• Airbus IT tools: AIRINA, TAKSY, ECM, eQLB, ALB.
• Knowledge of aircraft design and manufacturing rules.
