About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the scaling of vehicle assembly operations and expand our product range. You will partner with Product Integration, Design Engineering, Quality and other cross‑functional teams to move vehicles from concept through design milestones to full‑scale production, while collaborating with external vendors and technology partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Review product designs for manufacturing feasibility in vehicle assembly.
  • Conduct detailed Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews, including GD&T analyses, tool clearance and ergonomics.
  • Coordinate process testing and validation through virtual builds and full‑scale product launches.
  • Develop process documentation such as Process Sheets, equipment specifications, RFQs, PFMEAs and Quality Control Plans.
  • Provide geometric assessment impact and cost analysis for design changes.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen) to reduce cost and improve quality/throughput.
  • Design factory layouts, line balances, capacity simulations and manufacturing operating systems.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a technology‑driven, high‑volume automated assembly environment.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage competing priorities and maintain accountability.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

  • Microsoft Office suite – Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • 2D/3D modeling software – CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) analysis.
  • Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Quality Control Plan development.
  • Knowledge of automated equipment – robotics, vision systems, material handling, conveyors, PLCs and HMIs.
  • Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S and Kaizen.
