Manufacturing Engineer – Multiple Openings

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to support its manufacturing organization in Anasco, Puerto Rico. The role focuses on optimizing production processes, ensuring efficient operations, and meeting production goals while adhering to environmental policies.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and complete technical activities for new or improved products and processes across current and next‑generation programs.
• Analyze and solve engineering problems using fundamental principles and innovative approaches.
• Perform process and equipment validations and support product transfers.
• Incorporate business policies and procedures into task execution and understand customer and business needs.
• Develop internal and external networks to facilitate task completion.
• Serve as a resource for training new engineers and employees.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with experience in manufacturing engineering or related fields.
• Strong ability to apply engineering principles to solve complex problems.
• Understanding of business cycles, emerging technology trends, and customer requirements.
• Experience working in a regulated, environmentally conscious manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross‑functional interaction.
