Manufacturing Engineer Level 1

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Level 1 to design, implement, and review manufacturing procedures. You will research automation techniques, support product flow, tooling, and fixtures, and consider environmental impacts while ensuring high efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Research and apply automation techniques to improve production line efficiency.
• Support product flow, tooling, fixtures, and equipment design, including certification needs.
• Implement ergonomic and efficiency improvements.
• Develop automated and non‑automated systems, install equipment, and resolve production issues.
• Lead automation projects and provide technical support to maximize throughput.
• Assist in new product development to ensure manufacturability.
• Manage cost‑reduction and quality‑improvement projects.
• Support maintenance to reduce downtime and train staff on new processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of mechanical or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Project management, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime or off‑shift hours as needed.
• Excellent communication skills.
