Manufacturing Associate – Production Operations

About the role

Join Gerdau’s state‑of‑the‑art rolling mill as a Manufacturing Associate, responsible for maintaining equipment operations, safety standards, and product quality while working with cutting‑edge technology.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain equipment operations, safety standards, housekeeping, and conduct bar quality inspections.
• Empty buckets as needed, keep 5S areas clean, follow cleaning schedules, and assist maintenance with saw blade changes, roll changes, and inspections.

Required profile

• Successful completion of an entrance exam and at least 3 years of manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Ability to work a 12‑hour rotating schedule including days, nights, and two consecutive weekends per month.

Required skills

• Experience with heavy mobile equipment, overhead cranes, cab crane and torches.
• Basic computer skills, ability to use charts, schedules, touchscreens, HMI controls, measuring instruments and gauges.
