About the role

Gullwing Growth Partners is seeking a Managing Director to lead its investing, portfolio management, and strategic initiatives across consumer and technology sectors. The role combines deal execution with hands‑on value creation for portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and execute private equity and growth equity investments.
• Develop investment theses, build proprietary deal pipelines, and lead due‑diligence processes.
• Structure transactions and present recommendations to the investment committee.
• Partner with founders and management teams to identify growth opportunities, improve operations, and refine go‑to‑market strategies.
• Oversee portfolio performance, establish value‑creation plans, and monitor key operating and financial metrics.
• Contribute to fund‑raising, investor communications, strategic partnerships, and firm‑wide planning.
• Mentor junior investment professionals and represent the firm within the broader investment ecosystem.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or investment banking.
• Proven track record investing in consumer sectors such as food & beverage, beauty, wellness, retail, or consumer technology.
• Experience sourcing, underwriting, executing, and managing private investments.
• Strong relationships across the consumer ecosystem (founders, operators, investors, retailers, distributors, strategic acquirers).
• Experience with fund‑raising, investor relations, or capital‑formation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset focused on scaling businesses.
