Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the Business Operations Engineering team. In this role you will ensure the production readiness and stability of Mastercard’s digital payment platforms, driving reliability, scalability and fault‑tolerance across global services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Business Operations Engineers focused on site reliability.
• Own production readiness stewardship for Mastercard products, including change implementation and operational design.
• Design, implement and maintain automated monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Drive incident triage, root‑cause analysis and blameless post‑mortems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build fault‑tolerant, scalable systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps roles.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to understand business impact of technical incidents.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
