Manager, Quality Engineering and Delivery

About the role

CaptivateIQ is looking for a senior leader to head its Quality Engineering and Delivery function. The manager will guide a distributed team of engineers, improve the software development lifecycle, and ensure the reliability of our SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and grow a distributed engineering team, fostering trust and psychological safety.
• Invest in the developer experience by shaping CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks and tooling.
• Partner with product, design and engineering leaders to prioritize roadmaps that optimize product health and reliability.
• Provide technical direction, setting architectural guardrails for test automation and delivery pipelines.
• Coach engineering teams on testing strategies and elevate software‑quality thinking.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of the Delivery Engineering portfolio, ensuring solutions are reliable and secure at scale.
• Advocate best‑practice engineering methods and promote async‑first collaboration across regions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an engineering management or formal people‑management role (M‑level).
• Proven ability to improve developer experience and software delivery processes.
• Deep expertise in software quality, testing strategies and test automation.
• Strong partnership skills with product, design and engineering stakeholders.
• Passion for talent development through coaching, mentorship and performance management.
