Batch Developer (UNIX/C/SQL)

About the role

Join an innovative healthcare technology company to develop and maintain batch applications that support health‑care administration products used by millions. You will work remotely across the United States, applying your Unix, C, and SQL expertise while benefiting from extensive learning and development programs.

Key responsibilities

• Code, test, debug, implement, and document batch programs using Unix, C and SQL.
• Gather system information, analyze requirements, and prepare documentation for program changes.
• Design and develop new programs or enhancements, write specifications, and create test plans.
• Provide production support, resolve issues, and conduct peer‑code reviews.

Required profile

• 3+ years of applications development and batch programming experience on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience with claims processing, pharmacy point‑of‑sale, EDI or NCPDP is highly desired.
• Ability to work independently and lead within a team, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
