Manager, Organization Learning & Development

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a Manager of Organization Learning & Development in Daytona Beach, Florida. The role develops and implements professional development strategies aligned with the Dynamic Learning Community strategy, leads project teams on organizational learning initiatives, and acts as a strategic partner to drive organizational change through learning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze learning needs and conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development requirements.
• Build alliances with external training providers and educational institutions.
• Develop, curate and monitor learning programs and resources that support career pathways, and establish educational program goals and outcomes.
• Create metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives and give feedback to leaders to improve learning strategies.
• Collaborate with senior management to design and deliver learning solutions and provide strategic consulting on learning and development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred); field of study in Learning, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Healthcare or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in education or learning/training, with emphasis on career development, learning program management, talent development and organizational development.
• Demonstrated experience in learning in healthcare and previous experience leading teams and individuals to high performance.
• Preferred: experience in consulting, in a matrix organization, and in progressive management.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, planning, organization and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
• Executive-level presentation and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of change management best practices, learning theories and models, and career development methodologies.
• Preferred: Excel data analytics, Microsoft PowerBI, Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or PMP certification.
