Manager, Operations Training

About the role
The Manager, Operations Training will support the design, coordination, delivery and tracking of operational training for LA28’s Games readiness, test events and Games‑time phases. Working closely with functional areas, venue teams and workforce partners, you will help ensure the LA28 workforce is prepared to deliver operational excellence across the Games footprint.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Games Time Training in shaping the operational training approach.
- Create, adapt and maintain training materials, documentation and learner‑focused content.
- Translate business and functional area input into practical training solutions.
- Plan, schedule and facilitate training sessions, workshops and walkthroughs.
- Support train‑the‑trainer delivery and manage training issues, dependencies and readiness risks.
- Drive training reporting, issue tracking and readiness documentation.
- Coordinate with internal partners to align training activities with overall project timelines.
Required profile
- Proven experience in designing and delivering operational training programs.
- Strong stakeholder coordination skills across functional areas and venue teams.
- Ability to manage training schedules, documentation and reporting.
- Experience supporting large‑scale events or complex projects is advantageous.
