Manager, Office of Transformation Experience Design

About the role

The Transformation Team at Mastercard is seeking a Manager to lead user experience design for large‑scale transformation initiatives. You will shape end‑to‑end user flows, conduct research, and prototype AI‑enabled interactions to ensure intuitive, usable experiences across B2B and B2B2C journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Own user flows, journeys, wireframes and prototypes from concept through validation for transformation projects.
• Conduct discovery research, usability testing and journey mapping to generate actionable insights.
• Simplify complex problems into clear, intuitive designs using structured design thinking.
• Partner cross‑functionally to align problem statements, priorities and trade‑offs, ensuring user feedback drives redesign decisions.
• Explore and prototype AI‑enabled interactions that improve clarity and adoption.
• Facilitate workshops to ideate, prototype and validate early concepts.

Required profile

• Proven UX design experience in complex enterprise or B2B environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design, research, ideation, prototyping and validation.
• Hands‑on experience with user research and translating findings into design decisions.
• Curiosity about AI’s impact on customer experiences and ability to prototype AI‑enabled interactions.
