Manager of STAR Events & Communication

About the role

The Manager of STAR Events & Communication will support the hotel’s vision by leading internal communications and employee‑focused events. This role creates the tools, channels, and experiences that reinforce company culture across all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hotel‑wide internal communication, producing email templates, memos, flyers, posters, intranet content and communication stations.
• Manage the Employee Communications team, setting daily priorities and evaluating performance.
• Craft the General Manager’s internal messages, including memos, recognition letters, invitations and presentations for STAR rallies and leadership meetings.
• Analyze service issues, collaborate with the Rooms team on operational strategies, and audit expenses.
• Plan and control the communications budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Update communication tools based on industry trends and create hotel publications, PowerPoint presentations, videos and other multimedia assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications (or related) with at least 2 years of HR/management experience, OR an associate degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to manage a team and deliver high‑quality internal communications.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and align communication strategies with business goals.
