Manager of People Operations

About the role

Karbon is seeking a Manager of People Operations to lead the design and automation of its global HR and Talent Acquisition processes. Reporting to the VP of People, you will own the operational backbone that supports Karbonites across six countries, embedding AI‑driven agents to scale the People function.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and continuously improve the end‑to‑end People Ops and TA operational stack, making AI agents the default execution layer.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents for onboarding, off‑boarding, compliance documentation, offer‑letter generation, interview scheduling, and tier‑1 employee queries.
• Implement AI‑powered checks that monitor multi‑country HR compliance, flag risks, and surface regulatory changes without manual tracking.
• Create real‑time reporting and analytics dashboards that provide hiring funnel insights and operational health metrics for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the People team to ensure data integrity, forecasting, and benefits administration are embedded in automated workflows.

Required profile

• Operations leader with a strong AI‑native mindset who instinctively asks which agent should own a process.
• Deep understanding of multi‑country HR compliance and experience designing prompt‑engineered workflows.
• Proven ability to design systems that scale, reducing human intervention while maintaining accuracy.
• Strategic thinker focused on designing work rather than executing repetitive tasks.
