Manager of People Operations

About the role

Karbon is seeking a Manager of People Operations to lead the operational backbone of hiring, onboarding, and employee support across six countries. Reporting to the VP of People, you will design AI‑driven workflows that enable a lean People team to operate at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and continuously improve the end‑to‑end People Ops and Talent Acquisition operational stack, embedding AI agents as the default execution layer.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents to own routine tasks such as onboarding orchestration, compliance documentation, offer‑letter generation, interview scheduling, and tier‑1 employee queries.
• Implement AI‑powered checks for multi‑country HR compliance, flagging risks and surfacing regulatory changes without manual tracking.
• Create real‑time reporting and analytics dashboards for People and TA functions, delivering hiring funnel insights and operational health metrics.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven operations leader with a strong AI‑native mindset and a track record of building scalable, agent‑centric systems.
• Deep understanding of multi‑country HR compliance and experience designing automated compliance solutions.
• Ability to think strategically about workflow design rather than executing individual tasks.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience delivering actionable insights from data.
