Manager, Materials Management

About the role

The University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute seeks a full‑time Manager, Materials Management to lead supply chain systems, logistics and data platforms across the institute.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of materials management including ordering, stocking, receiving, PAR and inventory management.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, Value Analysis and Procurement to identify savings, resolve back‑order issues and optimize supply usage.
• Develop and execute multi‑year strategic plans, product road‑maps and performance metrics for supply chain services.
• Design and implement business process changes to simplify and optimize end‑to‑end operations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in hospital supply chain management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in materials or supply chain management.
