Manager, Inventory Solutions

About the role

The Manager, Inventory Solutions leads a group of analysts and senior analysts who implement projects within the Inventory Planning and Replenishment organization. The manager oversees the work of managers, including planning, designing and implementing new systems or changes to existing ones, and plays a key role in business process design and improvement. The role also drives inventory management improvement initiatives and provides data-driven insights and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a group of analysts and senior analysts and cross-functional projects, overseeing project plans, timelines and team coordination, and ensuring on-time delivery of inventory management project goals.
• Identify key projects linked to the IPR goals and objectives.
• Provide ad-hoc business analysis and reporting through supervision of analysts.
• Develop metrics and reporting to support business needs.
• Analyze, identify and implement improvement opportunities with measurable annual dollar impact.
• Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to analysts and senior analysts.
• Drive change management for system enhancements, implementations and process improvements, working across functional groups.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred: master's degree with an emphasis in engineering or supply chain management, retail experience, supply chain knowledge, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Preferred: 4 years of work experience.
• Reports to the Sr. Manager/Director, Inventory Solutions.

Required skills

• Solid understanding and use of statistical software to analyze and interpret data.
• Proficiency in Access, Excel, IBM and SQL queries.
• Ability to coach, develop and lead a team of analysts through project completion.
• Strong multitasking and teamwork skills.

Travel is typically under 10% overnight, and the work is mostly done indoors in a comfortable setting.
