Manager, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure

About the role

Oxfam is seeking a Manager, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure to lead the stability, security, and scalability of its IT environment. The role ensures robust protection of digital assets, supports a hybrid workforce, and oversees day‑to‑day infrastructure operations across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison with Oxfam’s Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) to monitor, report, and remediate cybersecurity threats.
• Lead incident response in collaboration with senior security leaders, ensuring thorough investigation, documentation, and remediation.
• Maintain security policies, standards, and compliance, including data privacy and acceptable‑use guidelines.
• Manage firewalls, VPN access, vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and related remediation activities.
• Oversee backup and disaster‑recovery planning for on‑premise and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date IT infrastructure documentation such as network diagrams, system architecture, and asset inventories.
• Operate and maintain on‑premise and cloud‑based network devices, servers, and storage.
• Administer endpoint protection using Microsoft Intune and manage the O365 environment.
• Run the organization’s patch‑management program for operating systems, applications, firmware, and security updates.
• Supervise help‑desk operations and procurement of AV/IT equipment.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead day‑to‑day IT infrastructure operations.
• Experience coordinating with external security service providers.
• Strong background in incident response and security policy enforcement.
