Manager, Corporate Communications

About the role

As a manager on Starbucks’ Global Communications team, you will protect and strengthen the brand’s reputation during critical moments. You will lead high‑impact digital and social communications, focusing on issues management, crisis response, and brand trust.

Key responsibilities

• Drive digital and social communications strategy for issues and crises, ensuring a timely, consistent voice aligned with Starbucks’ values.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for issues and crisis communications, coordinating cross‑functional teams from identification through resolution.
• Develop and execute integrated communications plans and campaigns that protect and elevate brand trust across owned, earned, and paid media.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to emerging risks and issues across social, digital, and media landscapes, recommending proactive or corrective actions.
• Offer real‑time strategic counsel and risk guidance to senior leaders and partners during high‑pressure, rapidly evolving situations.
