Manager, Community Relations

About the role

The Manager, Community Relations leads the design, delivery and assessment of community impact programs that connect the organization with the greater Los Angeles community. This role serves as a key ambassador, using basketball‑related initiatives to create meaningful opportunities for youth and strengthen local partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and evaluate community impact programs, signature initiatives and philanthropic projects from concept through completion.
• Develop innovative programming that leverages basketball to engage youth, strengthen neighborhoods and advance organizational goals.
• Manage the annual program calendar, overseeing multiple concurrent initiatives while balancing timelines and resources.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, schools, civic leaders, corporate partners and league stakeholders.
• Monitor program budgets, timelines and operational resources to ensure on‑brand, on‑budget delivery.
• Measure and report on program outcomes, participation metrics and stakeholder satisfaction.
