Make Ready Technician – Ellwood Pines

About the role

The Make Ready Technician ensures vacant apartments are prepared to Greystar’s quality standards for re‑leasing. Working on the Ellwood Pines community in Roswell, the technician performs a range of repairs, cleaning and finishing tasks to turn units market‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements to apartments before new resident move‑in using the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Perform touch‑up painting on vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completion of the make‑ready checklist and other maintenance records promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions and address maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and perform physical labor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Customer‑service orientation with respectful communication.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
• Compliance with safety and risk‑management procedures.
