Maintenance/Reliability Planning Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Reliability Planning Supervisor for its Facility Maintenance team in Davenport, IA. The role combines hands-on maintenance leadership with planning and scheduling, ensuring preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, asset reliability and subcontractor activities run safely and in line with customer requirements. It acts as the main link between technicians, operations, customers and suppliers. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with possible weekend work to support 24/7 operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan weekly and monthly maintenance schedules and review, prioritize and assign work orders in the CMMS
• Coordinate labor, materials, tools, permits and contractors, and monitor PM completion, backlog and work order performance
• Supervise technicians and contractors, hold daily planning meetings, guide troubleshooting and respond to emergency requests
• Analyze KPIs such as PM compliance, schedule compliance, MTBF and MTTR, and support reliability-centered maintenance
• Enforce safety policies (LOTO, confined space, hot work, permit-to-work), conduct safety observations and incident investigations, and ensure OSHA and customer compliance
• Act as the main contact for customer concerns, coordinate contractors and suppliers, and help with service agreements and vendor evaluations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, monitor spending, coordinate procurement and oversee MRO inventory

Required profile

• 5+ years of industrial, facilities or maintenance management experience; 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• Associate degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, Business Management or a related field preferred
• Experience planning maintenance in a manufacturing or facilities environment
• Preferred certifications: CMRP, CMM, OSHA 30-Hour, FMP, PMP
• Ability to walk facilities, climb stairs, access mechanical spaces and lift up to 50 pounds; occasional after-hours and weekend work

Required skills

• CMMS systems such as Corrigo, Maximo, SAP PM or Maintenance Connection
• Preventive and predictive maintenance principles, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and life safety systems
• Interpretation of technical drawings and schematics
• Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
