Maintenance Technician – Woodgrove (Sterlington)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Woodgrove community at Sterlington. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all work orders and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and building system issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Willingness to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely completion of tasks.
