Maintenance Technician (Wed-Sun, 7:30am-4pm)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician at Sagewood at Daybreak keeps the community running by repairing and maintaining buildings, grounds and support equipment. The schedule is Wednesday to Sunday, 7:30am to 4pm, with pay of $20-$25 per hour depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pools, spas) and waste management systems.
• Complete assigned service requests.
• Perform turn-key work so vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely way.
• Help organize and prioritize service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• May supervise other associates and outside contractors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 year of experience in property management maintenance.
• Able to use general maintenance tools, supplies and equipment regularly, and to handle chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Valid driver's license; technical training or HVAC certification is desirable.
