Maintenance Technician - Verra

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Verra property in Boston. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.
