Maintenance Technician - Tolman

About the role

The Maintenance Technician supports Greystar’s property in Fremont by ensuring that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role works a Sunday‑to‑Thursday schedule and is eligible for incentive‑based bonuses.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to keep building systems operating efficiently.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process, preparing vacant apartments for new tenants by addressing any repairs or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of related maintenance or mechanical experience.
• Ability to work the designated Sunday‑to‑Thursday schedule.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
