Maintenance Technician – The Wexley at 100

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of The Wexley at 100 – including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. This onsite role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs and supporting the overall upkeep of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑generated work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance work and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Experience with work‑order management and make‑ready processes.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and inventory control.
• Willingness to follow safety and risk‑management policies and attend routine safety meetings.
