Maintenance Technician – The Grand at Carolina Forest

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of The Grand at Carolina Forest meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves handling resident work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑generated work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Commitment to follow established policies, procedures, safety standards and applicable code requirements.
