Maintenance Technician – Terra Vista

About the role

The Maintenance Technician for Terra Vista ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality. You will respond to resident service requests, perform preventative maintenance and prepare vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies and code.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Experience in building or property maintenance with a solid understanding of mechanical and technical work.
• Ability to follow safety and risk‑management policies and participate in routine safety meetings.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory and documentation.
• Flexibility to work onsite and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
