Maintenance Technician – Tapestry at Brentwood Town Center

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Tapestry at Brentwood Town Center community. You will ensure that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs safely.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and make‑ready procedures.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
