Maintenance Technician – South Ridge

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its South Ridge property in Williston. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies and participate in routine safety meetings.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, make‑ready procedures, and basic inventory management.
• Attention to detail in documentation and quality of work.
