Maintenance Technician – Riverside Station

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Riverside Station property in Arlington. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials and tools efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and technical issues.
• Experience completing make‑ready processes for vacant units.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and accurate documentation.
• Willingness to follow safety and risk‑management policies.
• Capability to perform general grounds and amenity upkeep.
