Maintenance Technician – Retreat at Fitzsimons

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at the Retreat at Fitzsimons property in Aurora. The role ensures that the building, grounds, and common‑area amenities are clean, safe, and fully functional, supporting a high‑quality living experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by performing trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work onsite and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.
