Maintenance Technician – Residential Property

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep of the Savoy residential property in Charlotte, NC. Working on‑site, you will ensure that all building systems, common areas and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new tenants, including cleaning, minor repairs and inspections.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any recurring problems to management.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines while performing technical and mechanical tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to identify the source of defects and implement effective repairs.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional on‑call duties.
