Maintenance Technician – Phoenix

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Greystar’s residential properties in Phoenix meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and common areas to avoid future defects.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure all work complies with established procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical problems and implement effective repairs.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s maintenance policies.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, inspections, and vendor scheduling.
