Maintenance Technician – Lantower Weston Corners

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Lantower Weston Corners meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position works Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, repairs and final inspections.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds, common areas and amenities cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and minor painting.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays for on‑call duties.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when required.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant recycling certification (Type I, Type II or Universal).
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
