Maintenance Technician - H2O Townhomes

About the role

The Maintenance Technician for H2O Townhomes will ensure that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. Working on‑site in West Valley City, Utah, you will respond to resident requests, perform preventative maintenance and prepare vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property to reduce future breakdowns.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors and contractors, and securing necessary supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Experience with routine building maintenance and preventative upkeep.
• Strong attention to safety, code compliance and company procedures.
• Good organizational skills for scheduling vendors and managing supplies.
