Maintenance Technician – Fourteen 01

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day operation of its Fourteen 01 property. You will ensure that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all work orders and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Experience with routine preventative maintenance in a residential or commercial setting.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and quality inspections.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
