Maintenance Technician for Residential Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its Harbor Park residential community meet high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves hands‑on technical and mechanical work across apartments, common areas, and amenities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all work orders and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• Ability to work Tuesday‑Saturday schedule with on‑call availability for after‑hours emergencies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Good organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and vendor schedules.
