Maintenance Technician – Effingham Parc

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports resident satisfaction and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and executing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule vendors and contractors, and ensure units are ready for leasing.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and service outcomes.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and Greystar’s maintenance procedures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, vendor coordination, and documentation.
