Maintenance Technician – Eden at Tradition

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical components of the property – buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role supports resident satisfaction and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend routine safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s standards.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors, contractors and residents.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment and work in various weather conditions.
