About the role

The Maintenance Technician – Creole on Yorktown is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of Greystar’s residential properties—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property to keep building systems operating efficiently.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and maintenance requests.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose mechanical or technical issues.
• Attention to detail for inspections, punch‑list creation, and documentation.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a residential property environment.
