Maintenance Technician – Community Property

About the role

The Maintenance Technician supports the upkeep of The Legacy community, ensuring both interior and exterior areas remain safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. This position blends hands‑on repairs with strong customer service to protect the property’s value.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly, including weekend and after‑hours emergencies.
• Conduct daily inspections of the property and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Maintain an organized, OSHA‑compliant work environment and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Assist with turnover preparations and support community events to foster resident engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety policies, and maintain confidentiality.
• Physical ability to stand, climb, lift up to 50 lb, and work in varied weather conditions.
