Maintenance Technician – Centro at Pine Nash

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of Centro at Pine Nash – a mid‑rise, stabilized community of 240 units – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position works Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule to support residents and keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical and mechanical tasks safely and in accordance with company policies and local codes.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality of work.
• Reliable attendance for a Monday‑Friday schedule with on‑call rotations.
