Maintenance Technician – Catalyst Production

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join BASF’s Catalyst division in Savannah, GA. The role ensures the plant’s equipment and facilities are maintained to support safe, efficient and high‑quality production of catalyst products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical or hydraulic issues promptly.
• Work independently following written work orders and standard procedures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting, burning and welding equipment, and material‑handling machinery safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete required maintenance documentation accurately.
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, wear prescribed PPE and report unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proven ability to perform precision maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work shifts and follow safety protocols.
