Maintenance Technician – Broadstone Los Feliz

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Broadstone Los Feliz property. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional. You will work on resident service requests, preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of materials, supplies, tools and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using supplies efficiently.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday.
• Proficiency with HappyCo or similar maintenance management software.
